''The Gaming Commission'' Styrofoam, Astroturf, books, room measures 7' wide x 8' deep x 7.5' tall, 2010
Installation in the storefront window of Adobe Books in the Mission District of San Francisco comprised of functional mountain-like chair forms, supported by tiled and wallpapered Astroturf fleur-de-lis and books suspended like birds. The installation offered a synthetic oasis, giving the reader refuge from the over-flowing bookstore while turning them into performer for pedestrians passing by.
